# Getting Started with BSC

**What is BNB Smart Chain (BSC)**

KryptoPips has been deployed on the BSC network. [BNB Smart Chain](https://www.bnbchain.org/) (BSC) is a blockchain network designed for running smart contract-based applications. BSC supports Ethereum-based applications through the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), including popular tools like MetaMask. The platform's goal is to facilitate the development of decentralized applications (DApps) and enable users to efficiently manage their digital assets across different chains with low latency.

**Adding BSC to MetaMask**

Open up the Networks settings in MetaMask. When in the Networks settings, click on the Add Network button to add a new network to your MetaMask wallet.

Enter the following details and click the Save button when done.&#x20;

**Network Name:** BNB Smart Chain&#x20;

**New RPC URL:** <https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/>

**ChainID:** 56&#x20;

**Symbol:** BNB&#x20;

**Block Explorer URL:** <https://bscscan.com>

**Import Tokens to MetaMask**

In order to view the tokens that are not shown, please import them into your MetaMask. Open MetaMask and scroll down, click on Import tokens and paste the respective address of the token you wish to add. Confirm, and repeat for each token you wish to import.&#x20;

The following are some common tokens available on the BSC network.

**BUSD:** 0xe9e7CEA3DedcA5984780Bafc599bD69ADd087D56&#x20;

**USDC:** 0x8AC76a51cc950d9822D68b83fE1Ad97B32Cd580d&#x20;

**USDT:** 0x55d398326f99059fF775485246999027B3197955<br>

**Sending Funds to MetaMask**

To perform transactions on the BSC network, it is essential to have a sufficient balance of BNB coins to cover the transaction fees. Moreover, having an allocation of tokens is necessary for carrying out swaps and exchanges within the KryptoPips platform. To obtain BNB coins, you can visit your chosen [cryptocurrency exchange](https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges) and utilize your preferred funding methods to acquire them. Once you have obtained some BNB, you can proceed with the withdrawal process to transfer the BNB to your MetaMask wallet.

When on the withdrawal screen, ensure that you paste your MetaMask wallet address into the recipient address field and select BSC as the desired network. Then, enter the amount you intend to withdraw and proceed to confirm the transaction.&#x20;

Once confirmed, the BNB funds should be visible in your MetaMask wallet within a few minutes. However, the exact time may vary depending on factors such as the cryptocurrency exchange you are using, their withdrawal policies, and the current network traffic conditions.
